Streamline your MPS: efficient, compliant, scalable

Our Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) platform is designed to empower Discretionary Fund Managers (DFMs) and investment firms by streamlining the entire adviser onboarding process and enhancing the selection of MPS for investors.

By integrating robust digital tools with automated processes, our platform allows DFMs to efficiently scale their business while ensuring compliance and delivering a seamless experience to advisers and their clients.

A thorough, fully automated adviser onboarding process, that can incorporate a DFMs bespoke due diligence questionnaire, real-time links to the FCA’s website for regulatory checks, and customisable workflows, our MPS platform helps investment firms streamline their product offering for advisers and clients.

FAQs

What type of technology underpins the DFM / Adviser Onboarding Platform?

Our Adviser Onboarding Platform is a cloud-based solution utilising Microsoft Azure. Our platform can be hosted either within the client’s or our own Azure tenant as required.

How does the platform support compliance teams?

For DFM and MPS clients that distribute via the UK IFA community, our platform provides them with a robust regulatory process for the onboarding of new Adviser Firms. The onboarding module includes a Due-Diligence Questionnaire (bespoke per DFM) as well as the digital signing of a DFM’s Terms of Business (again, bespoke per DFM).

The platform includes a full workflow process allowing a DFM’s compliance function to review a newly registered Adviser Firm and decide whether or not to authorise them to use the firm’s services. The platform can also be utilised to undertake more adhoc / periodic compliance reviews (e.g. DDQ renewals; signing of updated TOBs etc).

How familiar is the UK Adviser community with this onboarding solution?

On behalf of our clients, over 700 Due Diligence Questionnaire’s (DDQ’s) have been completed by UK regulated Adviser Firms using our unique onboarding process.

Do we need our own technology personnel to use your platform?

No. The platform is a cloud-based solution that we can host on your behalf. Our Adviser Onboarding platform is designed for small to medium-sized firms that may not have their own dedicated IT teams to build such capabilities.

Our paper-based processes work well. Why should we utilise your Adviser Firm onboarding solution?

The platform is designed to automate many of the manual processes and steps that would otherwise need to be undertaken by your compliance personnel, thereby freeing them up to perform more value-add activity.

The platform is fully integrated with the UK FCA’s registry of authorised firms, and information is automatically extracted from the FCA register to ensure accurate data capture. This includes capture of any restrictions / sanctions that may be imposed on an Adviser Firm at the point of onboarding. With a digital register of all completed DDQ’s and signed Terms of Business you are better positioned to manage your distribution relationships on an on-going basis.
